Top it off, fill the resi up just a littlle. Leave the cap off and keep filling it up. Till it starts to boil out. Put the cap back on. Let it get to temp. Let it cool. Top of agian. Do that like 3 times. Then you should be good to go with making sure the resi is full.They are prone to go bad at any time, its easy to check though: just put it in a pot of water with a temp gauge and when it snaps open, check the temp. if its around 195 its good. if it doesnt, theres your problem. $10 fix! Don't forget to turn on the interior heater to make sure there's no air trapped in the heater core. Around town / stop n' go with a partial blockage with low air flow and less circulation your result is overheating. Not a radiator issue. Around town / stop n' go with a partial blockage with low air flow and less circulation your result is overheating. Not a radiator issue.
